What you’ll do

1

Install services

Internet, TV, and home phone. Many homes already have a connection — you connect equipment, verify signal, and move on. Some jobs require running a cable from the pole to the house.

2

Plan with the customer

Before every job, walk through the plan with the homeowner — including whether you’ll need to drill through walls — so everyone knows what to expect.

3

Finish strong

Check that every service works, then give a short walkthrough so the customer knows how to use what you set up.

Work Day

A technician’s workday is 6–12 visits to customers’ homes. Your phone app shows everything you need for each job — address, plan, and account details.

Morning route

Open your day in the app, head to the first home.

Install & verify

Connect equipment or run new cable as needed, then confirm internet and phone are working as intended.

Next stop

Short walkthrough for the customer, pack up, and move to the next visit — repeat across your route for the day.

What you need

These are hard requirements — without them you cannot do the job. Read them before you apply so there are no surprises after you’re hired.

Vehicle

Your vehicle must be able to carry the required materials and a 28-ft fiberglass ladder — anything smaller won’t work. Pickup, van, SUV, or another vehicle is fine, as long as it can safely carry the ladder and your gear for the route. Single solid color, no lettering or graphics. Valid driver’s license required.

Tools & meter

We’ll give you the full list of tools required for the job. Before your first day in the field you’ll need your own hand tools — coax strippers/crimpers, drill, ladders, safety gear, work boots, and a supported Samsung phone for the job app — plus a cable signal meter to verify every install.

Drug test

A drug test is part of onboarding. During training you’ll get an invitation to a clinic near you — bring the invitation and your driver’s license. Results go to the company; plan for it before you start.

Background check

A clean background is part of the hiring bar. We ask about any criminal record on your application, and it’s reviewed as part of your qualification before you’re brought on — plan for it before you apply.

No experience? You’re still a fit.

Paid training — we teach you the job

No prior cable experience required. Training is paid by the company as part of getting you working — you’re on the clock with an experienced technician from day one, learning by doing, not from a manual. Full tool list and any rental options are shared after you apply.
